Mother's Day at the zoo.

We spent Mothers Day at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.  It was a great family day.   The weather was perfect!

On a side note, Brandon did offer to take me and the kids to a Mothers Day Brunch before the zoo.  I really wasn't in the mood for that with all three kids.  He brought home donuts instead.  A much more relaxing breakfast!!

Brigid's Shower!

On July 17, 2012, baby Stetson entered the world, but before that we threw a party.  We celebrated his coming with a baby shower on April 28th.  There was cake, presents, food, hugs and lots of laughs. Oh, and a full bar.  We, Irish, know how to throw a baby shower.  Enjoy the pictures from the day.

Soccer, Soccer and more Soccer!

Well, the soccer season has come and gone.  I do wish we had taken more pictures.  At least we brought our camera to the first game.  Which was a very warm 41 degrees.  During that first game, Seamus declared that he hated soccer.  I don't blame him.  I would hate it too if I had to play in that kind of weather.  But I didn't get off easy, I still had to cheer in that nonsense.  Fortunately, the rest of our games were played in relatively nice weather.

All in all it was a good season.  Owen loved soccer and was sad to see the season go.  Seamus didn't seem to care either way.  At least he tried it and only time will tell if he wants to play again!  :)

Story Time with Arthur!

A few weeks ago, my dad and I took the kids to Barnes & Noble to meet Arthur!  It was a neat story time with a craft and two Arthur stories.  The two books was a bit much for the kids.  We still had a good morning though.  

Owen did confess to my dad that he was onto Arthur.  He told him, "I think that is just a guy in a costume."  Nothing gets past him!

The only kid who wanted to meet him was Seamus.  So we only got one picture with Arthur.   (Currently Seamus is in love with anything Winnie-the-Pooh.  Don't you love how he made Arthur hold the Winnie the Pooh book?)

Training wheels come off!

A few weekends ago Brandon took the training wheels off Owen's bike.  Owen hasn't quite got the hang of it but he is trying.  I have a feeling he will catch on soon.

As many of you know, I had knee surgery a few weeks ago.  This prevents me from helping Owen with his bike during the day.   The things are looking up though and I know I will be running after him soon!

Easter Time Fun!

I have so much to post about.  I have much to catch up and the back log was daunting.  Instead of overwhelming myself I decided to start with the fairly recent.  I guess some blog is better than no blog.  Right?

Easter has come and gone.  With it came friends, family, Easter egg hunts and candy.  Too much candy! We were so lucky that my brother and his girlfriend, Sara, were able to join us for the weekend. (The picture of them is from the Nature Center!  We visited there on Good Friday.)

We started the morning off with the dig through the Easter baskets.  The big bunny left each kid: pajamas, a t-shirt, a stuffed animal, a book and some candy.  They were also some bubbles and bubble machine to share.  Grandma Marnie also recorded each of the kids a bedtime story book.  Which the kids loved to flip through and hear her voice. 

The day continued with a big breakfast, a big lunch and even bigger dinner. Breakfast and dinner was eaten at my mom's house.  For lunch, we met family at my Aunt Nancy's house.  

Our Anniversary was the day after Easter.  Here is us on Easter Sunday.  A day shy of being married 7 years!  Go us!

Up and Running again.

Just a quick blog to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you.  I have lots of catching up to do and I plan to do it.  Really I do!

The main reason for the delay in posts is our recent move.  We have relocated to Cleveland, Ohio.  We are living with my parents right now.  Even though we have been here two months, I still feel like we are getting settled.  I am going to upload pictures and start blogging again soon.

For now, I am off to find my USB cord to download some pictures!  Which box was that in again?? :)
