T-Ball Season is here!

T-Ball has begun!  This year both the boys are playing on the same team.  Owen really seems interested in it.  I think he enjoys it because he tries hard and learns all that he can.  Seamus is still getting the hang of it.  He is not really interested in it yet.  He prefers to pick grass in the outfield rahter than pay attention to where the ball is.  He is only three though.  Maybe he will get it or maybe we will try soccer!!
Seamus and his coach.

Being the great dad that he is, Brandon helps the boys in the outfield.  Meghan and I cheer from the side line.  T-Ball is an entertaining sport.   I give the coaches credit.  It is not easy to wrangle 3 & 4 year olds into a functioning team.  I am thankful they are trying though!

I hope you enjoy these game day pictures.

Ohio Grandparents come to visit!

Watching the boys play T-Ball!

Grandpa Bill and Grandma Kathy came to spend a few days with us.  Brandon was in Cleveland while they were here.  It was relaxing and nice to have some help with the kids.  We didn't do all that much.  We did hit a few of the local malls.  My parents got to watch the boys' first T-Ball game.  My dad even helped the boys in the outfield.

It was nice to spend time with each other.   We always appreciate when family and friends come and visit us.  Hint, hint.

The boys showing off their new Panda hats!  As you could have guessed, these were gifts from Aunt Brigid and Uncle Brad.

6 years and counting!

On April 9th, Brandon and I celebrated our six year wedding anniversary.  We celebrated with dinner at Red Robin with our 3 kids.  It was a different celebration than 6 years ago.  Six years ago we partied into the night, this year the night ended with frozen yogurt.   It is a good change though.   Our marriage has been very blessed. Not everyone gets to say they married their best friend.  I just feel lucky that Brandon and I can say that.   Here's to many years to come.

Ferry Ride and a blue Slushy!

On April 2nd we decided to take the Ferry boat over to Bainbridge Island.   We wanted to take the kids on the ferry to explore the Island.  We parked our car in downtown Seattle and took the 30 minute ferry ride to the island.  While over there we explored, ate lunch and got fudge for dessert.  The island was interesting.  We thought it would have a more vacation feel to it.  It kinda felt like a regular town that we had to take a boat to get to.   It was still a fun day.   We played at a park and explored the water front.  Then it was time to climb aboard and head home.

On the ride home, we bought the boys a blue slushy.  I think this was the highlight of the day for the boys!  Brandon and I both tried it and thought it tasted like BLUE dye.

All and all it was a great day filled with wonderful memories.
