Other Ohio fun we had!

I feel like our time in Ohio flew by because we always seemed to be doing something or seeing someone.  We took the boys to an Indians game and they won!  It was their first at home win!  I think they really liked the game, but they really like meeting Slider (the mascot for the Cleveland Indians)!!

We also spent a lot of time outside!  The weather was awesome!  We soaked up the sun with days at parks, the beach and Play-In-Bay! We took a lot of walks around my parents' block, which usually ended with us stopping at the park at the end of their street.  Oh, and we can't forget the Bay Nature Center!!  Who could miss out on this FREE attraction!!

And the food was yummy!  We got to visit some of local spots that we had missed while we were away!!  Including Brio, Primo Vino, Mitchell's Ice Cream, BW-3's and Pizza by Robert!!  Yummy!

I feel so blessed to have been able to have this time with my family and Ohio friends!  It felt like God was hugging me the whole trip!  And I am pretty sure that my Grandpa Reilley asked God for nice weather while we were there!

More Ohio!

After the first weekend, things began to move into my sister's wedding celebration!!  I say the whole process was like 5 days of good food, family and friends.  The events started with the original rehearsal dinner restaurant shutting down.  We had to scramble and find somewhere new.  We ended up at Buca Di Beppo.  The rehearsal dinner was celebrated on April 9th, 2010.  For those of you keeping score, that is mine and Brandon's 5 year anniversary!  You heard that right, 5 years!  I feel so blessed.

Then came the big wedding day!!  It was a beautiful day, sunny and pleasant!!  Brigid and Brad were married on Huntington Beach in Bay Village!  The reception was downtown at Harry Buffalo.  The boys really liked dancing (running?) on the dance floor.  I think everyone got a turn on the dance floor.  I even danced with my dad to "God Only Knows," by the Beach Boys.  That was the song we danced to at my wedding!!  It was a good night filled with family and friends.  Owen and Seamus even had their first limo ride.

Ohio! Ohio!

Man, did it feel good to be home!!  I think I am going to post several times on our trip home.  A lot went on!!  I going to start with the first weekend we were there.

That first Saturday, we met up at Mitchell's Ice Cream with old friends.  There were smiles and hugs all around.  It is amazing to not be home for a whole year and then have friends wrap their arms around you and say, "Welcome Back!"   It was a great afternoon!

Then came Easter Sunday!  The boys went with my parents to Catholic Church.  Brandon and I went to Bay  Presbyterian Church.  We followed that up with a big breakfast; complete with my mom's famous cinnamon rolls.   Then for dinner, it was off to my grandparents.  It was so nice to be back in their house for the holidays again.  My grandpa set up an Easter egg hunt for the boys!  Owen only wanted the hard boiled eggs not the filled plastic ones!  I guess he still has a lot to learn.

That was the first weekend.  I will try to post more soon!!  Cleveland rocks!
