Texas Visitors!

We were so grateful that part of our Texas family came and visited us last month.  It was a short but very fun trip.  We first took them to Snoqualmie Falls.  (Remember I said if you visit us you will go to Snoqualmie Falls!)

It was a nice day to enjoy the falls.  

The next day we went to Gasworks Park.  It took us longer to get there because my GPS had no Satelitte reception.  I blame this on the rainy and cloudy weather.  We did finally arrive and stayed about 15 minutes.  We didn't stay long because of the weather.  The rain alone wouldn't be so bad but it came with thunder and lightning.  Gas Works park is right on Lake Union.  
 

The next day the weather let up a little, so we flew a kite at the local park.  It was great to be outside to enjoying sunshine while we could.  Later that day, it rained and hailed.  :)

Thank you Mary Kay and Will for visiting us.  We miss you already!

Never leave your camera unattended!

These kinds of  pictures show up on your camera when little kids grab it.  If nothing else, it is artistic!!  Never a dull moment around here!

Pike Place Market and a Superbowl Party!

Four days after Grandpa Bill left, Brigid and Brad visited us!  It was a busy weekend.   We explored Pike Place Market.  (I might add that I walked it on crutches!)  It was fun to walk around the shops and then sit down and have a relaxing lunch. 

Then it was Superbowl Sunday.  Superbowl means party in our house.  We did it up with snacks and football.   The way it should be done!

It was such fun.  We can't wait for them to come back again.

A visit with Grandpa Bill

My dad came to visit while Brandon was in Washington D.C. for work.  It was really good to have him here because I had just broken my foot.  It was hard to get out with the kids and my gimpy self.  We mostly relaxed at the house.

Once again, we really appreciate it when people come and visit.  I hope you enjoy the pictures from that visit.

Grandma and Grandpa Knight came to play!

We were very lucky to have Brandon's parents visit us the week after Christmas.   We celebrated the new year, played and put new furniture together!  Brandon and I even got an overnight away in Seattle.  Brandon and his dad put the boys' new bunk bed together.  Which the boys had been asking about ever since the big box came home from Ikea.   Marlene and I did lots of shopping with the kids while all this furniture assembly was going on. They also put together a dresser in our room.

It was so nice to have the help and the company.  We really miss family, so it was really great that they were able to visit!

Santa Came!

I thought you would enjoy a few pictures from our Christmas day of fun!  It was relaxing day filled with presents, food and love (of course!).  The kids make Christmas triple the fun.  They get excited over every gift and it is so much fun to watch them open them.  It was Meghan's first Christmas!  We are so happy she is here.  She adds so much to our family.  We have been blessed indeed.

The boys' big gift this year was brand new sleds.  We haven't used them yet.  Maybe soon.  It snowed this morning!

Snoqualmie Falls, Red Robin and Dear Friends.

Three days before Christmas, we met with our dear friends from California.  (They have now settled in Oregon!)  We met them at Snoqualmie Falls.  This is our favorite place to take guests from out of town.  If you come and visit us, we will probably take you there too.  It is so neat to see.  Come visit us and you can see it too. 

We see our dear friends, The Fourniers, about once a year.  The cool thing is that our kids get along really well for only seeing each once a year.  I was really excited this time because they got to meet Meghan. 


After Snoqualmie Falls, we went for shopping and dinner at Bellevue Square.  We ended the day in the World's busiest Red Robin!  Even so, it was a great meal and a great day!  We cannot wait until we can them again soon!
